Nick Hoover and I have made it safe and sound to Arizona. We are just sitting at the hotel. Nick is on weight 130lbs so we are just waiting till 6pm (Arizona time) 9pm (Ontario time) for official weigh ins. This was a different style of camp. I worked with Nick 2-3 times a day at Fifth Round and we went to some of the best Muay Thai gyms for sparring and worked with some of the best fighters some of which have fought his opponent Travis Clay. Thank you to Southside Muay Thai Mikey Prez for letting us come down and work with his team. As always our Family at MAS Martial Arts Kru Chris Justin Garant for working with Nick. and last but not least all of the Students and training partners at Fifth Round Martial Arts and Fitness Academy . This will be Nicks toughest challenge, fighting Current SIAM North American Champion Travis Clay in a 5 round title fight. No shin guards, no head gear and elbows. There is NO Doubt in my mind this will be a WAR and one of the MOST exciting fights you will see this year!!! We are ready for the challenge and have come prepared.
