Nick Snell is a 3 time Champion in 2014! 2014 Kid Kart Nationals Champion! 2014 WKA Manufactures Cup National Champion! 2014 Great Lakes Sprint Series Regional Champion! Nick set some really big goals in 2014, wanting to win what he calls the big 3. He wanted to win the Kid Kart Nationals Championship, the Great Lakes Sprint Series Championship, and the WKA Manufactures Cup Championship, all in the same year. I am happy to say that he has accomplished something that has never been done before, accomplished his goals, and has brought home 3 national titles in 2014! Last 2 weeks update from New Castle. Great Lakes Sprint series double final weekend. Saturday/ Finished 1st and 4th Sunday/ Finished 1st and 2nd Some of the most exciting racing to watch battling with Adam Brickley, seeing these young kids exchanging the lead every lap, is nothing but amazing. WKA Man Cup final weekend. Saturday/ Qualified 3rd Finished 2nd and 1st Sunday/ Qualified 1st Finished 1st and 2nd It was a close points battle with Elliot Cox going into NCMP. These boys had some close racing every lap of every race running nose to tail just about every lap. Elliot had some bad luck Saturday with a broken throttle cable in the final. We almost had some bad luck before the final race on Sunday with a broken clutch spring on the grid, but team NSR, with help from Vince Camoman Putman, and Jim Maier, was able to change the clutch on the grid in under 40sec getting Nick on the track in time to take the green. Would like to thank Vince Camoman Putman, and Jim Maier for helping with the clutch change and getting us back on the track to keep us in the points battle.
