Nick and I have had a Tetris marathon every Christmas Eve since we got married, but not this year. I always wrap our presents in fancy bows and wrapping paper, but not this year. And we always host Christmas dinner at our house, but not this year. (I feel like Monica from Friends fussing that Im ALWAYS the hostess!) Surprisingly Im quite content with our change of pace this year. Im here. Im living. Im enjoying my kids and my husband. Im thanking God for the bountiful blessings He has poured on us this year. For family, friends, food, a place to lay our heads and another Christmas with the people I love. And a 70° Christmas Day in Florida reminds me of my Texas home! 😉 Thankful for healthier days and praying friends. Thankful most of all today that my Savior gave up His home in heaven so I could be there with Him someday. Its all about Him...every day and not just at Christmas. Happy Christmas to you all!
