Nick tip: You dont need to eat all clean, nutrient dense foods to lose weight. The QUANTITY of food is paramount to the QUALITY when it comes to weight loss. One can eat all clean, organic and nutrient dense foods and still gain weight if the amount is too much in relation to what they burn. It is ok to add some processed foods and treats into your fat loss diet as long as you still have a caloric deficit. What eating clean, nutrient dense food does is it usually gives you more fiber, more nutrients and satiates you quicker and longer so you eat less. I also fi d that less processed food provides me with more sustanined energy and mental clarity. This is why the majority of your food should be nutrient dense selections, but not necessarily all. I eat approximately 80% nutrient dense, whole foods and the rest whatever I feel like and can fit into my numbers. The leaner I get and want to be the more strict I am as well, but mostly stick to that 80%. As long as you have a caloric deficit and are getting sufficient protein, fats and vitamins and minerals is what is most important.
