Nicoles Teacher asked me to post this.... OK Laredo, I need you to rally behind my student, Nicole Pfister. She was the target of actual mean girls bullying her that she was faking her cancer and that shes just out to get attention and on her clothing and makeup. Parents, please educate your children about having compassion for everyone, especially individuals like Nicole who cannot control what she has. Bullying doesnt get learned at school. It starts at home. If it were up to Nicole, she would choose a life without cancer. Shes beat great odds at a type of leukemia that is hard to fight. Shes the epitome of a teen with great strength and courage. No teenage girl should have to go through what she is going through. To those cruel girls, shame on you! Its people like you who give society a bad name. Cancer does not discriminate. You should be grateful that youre not dealing with something like Nicole is, and you should be especially grateful that you have a beautiful role model standing before you; I know I am!
