Nigel Latta Programme You may have seen on TV recently the Nigel Latta programme related to education. You can watch this online at tvnz.co.nz/nigel-latta/s1-ep2-video-6037627 as it challenges many of the myths around low decile schools and highlights Point England School in Auckland as a sound example of this. We are currently working towards the integration of E learning (learning with technology) into the school and are aiming to adopt a similar system for children to learn and work from home and from school. We will be offering a community consultation along with Hillmorton High school in the near future so you can learn more and have your say. If you get the chance to watch this video it will give you an idea of what we are aiming for. Barbara and I are heading up to Point England School in 2 weeks time to see for ourselves what we can learn from their journey and success.
