Nigeria @54 on October 1, 2014 Today we are together as a nation, despite our cultural and language differences. The transformation agenda of President Goodluck Jonathan embarked upon in the last three years has filled the gap in the economic and social life of Nigerians. Military incursion in the political, economic and social life of Nigeria as a nation spanning three decades has affected the psyche of Nigerians. In spite of this, we have course to celebrate! The last ten years is a build-up period to meeting the desired goal of Nigeria as one of the developed nations of the world. Year 2015 will usher in a new era of socio-economic development for Nigeria by which time Nigeria will be celebrating 55 years of independence.
