Nigeria Inches Closer To 2014 World Cup As Kenya Draws With Malawi The Super Eagles are in a pole position in the Brazil 2014 World Cup qualification race ahead of tonight’s game against Namibia in Windhoek as the Harambee Stars of Kenya played a 2-2 draw against Malawi Blantyre. Kenyan player Kayira saved the day for the Harambee Stars as he scored a late equaliser. After a goalless first half, host Malawi notched up by 1 goal with second half kick-off thanks to Ngalande effort but six minutes into the second half Kenya pulled back an equaliser through Mohammed. The game was heading to a 1-1 draw, until Ng’ambi and Kayira scored in the last ten minutes. With the outcome of the Kenya vs Malawi clash, Nigeria’s Super Eagles will be strolling into the final rounds of qualification, where they will be paired against another group winner, if they record a win tonight against Namibia. As it stands now, Nigeria so far have 8 points from playing four games, won two, lost none with four goals for and two goals against, while Malawi has 7 points from playing five games, won one game, drawn four games, lost none with four goals for and three goals against. Namibia has 4 points from four games, won one, drawn one, lost two games with one goal for and two goals against while Kenya lying below the group F table has 3 points from five games, won none, drawn three, lost two with three goals for and five goals against.
