Nigeria democracy will be excellent if we can stop the crime against humanity Going through some books about changes in society I was able to see several sides of the story more clearly. I could see that we are going on a right way but slowly. Dont panic. Dont give up and dont give in. We are going to deal with whatever it is that we feel we cannot deal with. We are going to handle whatever it is that seems so impossible to accept. Why? Because, regardless of whats happening in Nigeria presently, our future is looking excellent. Things look awkward at moment because only our politicians are ruling which is more like dictatorship rather than democracy; the number of blunders that they are committing in the society is hard to fathom. The great danger in democracy is that when we lose our grip the general peace itself is threatened. Our failure to follow through as it should be in Nigeria politics gave our politicians the confidence that they could do so much with impunity. Citizens should be primary shaper of our democracy; when we are not of one mind, our values can not stand and even advanced. When either has lost its sense of direction, neither can be so effective. Hey! Its not just only the politician’s interests that are failing our democracy. It is that of our peoples ignorant and we will become great only when we all get involve and prepared to back our words with action.
