In Nigeria there’s no truer measurement of our problem than this equation. Ten thousand people decide the fate of the rest one hundred and sixty million people in Nigeria. They feel as though they know what is best for us and feel like there’s really no need for us to have the basic necessities of life. Power is not necessary because they are profiting greatly from the importation of generators and diesel. Good roads are unfathomable because we will get lost in the luxury of not having to go through pot holes. Quality education is a myth because it will make us too aware and want to challenge authority; dwelling in our ignorance is all they want. The people that dictate our destiny are not more than this figure, but I digress. As much as these are the amount of people that controls everything, the sad thing is, we are the ones that amplify their power and execute their orders that make them look invincible.
