Nigeria has land borders as follows: Benin (773km), Cameroun (1,690km), Chad (87km) and Niger (1,497km), a total of 4,047km. Now it is time to build a strong wall of atleast 3m height and 30cm thickness with NATO barbed wires all round and few gates at approved border posts. I believe this would cost less than N200billion (a fraction of what we spend on security these days) and would greatly deal with this menace of people crossing in and out of Nigeria unhindered to cause trouble! By the time we announce that we are awarding the contract for the fence, some of these unco-operating neighbouring countries would cooperate with immediate effect.
