Nigerian and Religions ! I really dont know where to start from about my beautiful country Nigeria, many people are very very religious in this part of the world but nothing to write home about ! Flash back to Republic of Morocco, between 1998 to 2004,l drove with my German family sahara desert as part of #ParisDakar tour thou the holiday aspect of it not the professional one.that gave me opportunity of travelling breadth and length of Morocco and some Arab countries in Africa. In 2011 l was back in Morocco for Olympics qualifiers tournament with Nigeria U-23 team as their caterer.what amazed me was how quick things changed to good in that country in terms of infrastructure withing short period of time ! Now back to Nigeria,l was born here in lbadan in the mid-70s and left the country exactly around this time in 1996.The questions l always ask myself is why are we this religious and yet we lack simple infrastructure and simple basic need every human deserves like in Germany where nobody have no time to go to church or mosque ! I thought they said stupidity is doing the same thing all the time and expect different result ! Seriously this is high time for every one of us to think twice and face reality so that our generation and coming generations can have a worthy living ! And before l go dont mix free givers with philanthropy, they arent the same thing cos each time people talking about philanthropy in my society they quickly refers to those stomach infrastructure givers that shares food for the less privileges. For sure we are all free givers in a way cos if you look around you home and abroad for many of us you will see that we shared our hard earning incomes withing family and friends. My question is where are the Philanthropies in Nigeria as the government of federal republic Nigeria has failed us in all ramifications ? ... Have a lovely day folks
