Nigerians Goodmorning!!! Do you guys have government? If yes, then is Omo onile part of your constitution?. Folks, in Nigeria especially in western part of her or Lagos, after buying a land and obtaining relevant documents it warrants, you may end up paying 1/4 of the land cost again to some self-acclaimed landowners children AKA OMO ONILEs. For instance, after acquiring your dutifully paid land, any attempt to start work in it, you will be subjected under duress to pay this ridiculous amount that government seems to know nothing about to these fierce looking visitors who are ready to kill the new land acquitter in a little dialogue. Last I consulted land edits or the constitution, nothing of such can be traced in both documents of law governing our land uses. It doesnt just stop at first collection. If by the way, the builder continues to pay these amounts in all stages as s/he progresses. My humble assertion is to know if government have interest in such transactions? if not, then why is this practice continue unchecked. Many have died as a result of OMO-ONILEs, actions. Why is government encouraging lawlessness. In fact, a man born with complete hands should be productive enough and not relying on effort of men like himself. This is a major blow to an emerging economy like Nigeria. We are Nigerians and need to stop practicing things that look strange to ears worldwide. Can someone help me shout louder...........................................................pleeeeaaaasssssseeee!!!!!
