Night Flying Over #Riyadh Downtown, Saudi Arabia. As I looked down below me flying into Saudi Arabia for the first time in my life, I was pleasantly surprised at how spread out the city of Riyadh is, lighting up the desert at night for miles and miles. This was the start of a more than 2 weeks stay for a Microsoft project. It was an honor to have the client ask for someone with a unique set of skills and the company asking me to take on an additional project. It was a history and culture learning experience, while working through 3 weekends, including the long holiday weekend. The days were spent in local meetings and nights in making sure USA based clients and calls continued though I was 7 hours ahead of NY. I was delighted at the amazing love and respect the Saudi people have for Pakistanis AND Americans, so it was a privilege to be honored with so much appreciation.
