Nina is home!!!! Ultrasound at the C.A.R.E. Centre revealed that Nina has a healthy normal liver with NO shunt. Therefore surgery will not be needed. However as wonderful as this news is, we still are looking for answers as to what caused her to have these seizures. She has been booked for an appointment with another vet tomorrow and also has a neurologist appointment on Monday. Fingers crossed that she does not have any seizures in the meantime. As of now our biggest worry is that she is walking in circles quite often and is unsteady when getting up and sitting down. We are afraid that she may also have eye damage or hearing loss from the seizures. Thank you to Daniel Paul who donated $30.00.
