Nine days had passed since the massacre at Thistletop, and Halcyon spent every one of them preparing to go back. Ameiko allowed him to conduct interviews in the Rusty Dragon. His hopes were to find a group of adventures dump enough… Er, brave enough to laugh in the face of danger, and spit in the eye of Lamashtu, and her servant Nualia. Three applicants stood out amongst the others: Maiyanna – her sister Kaiyanna died below Thistletop. While she wore the trapping of the Dawnflower, she bore an open wrathful heart. Lyra – A drum banging bard looking for fame, and fortune. The oddest to join was Smiley though. He appeared as cloaked man of small stature, but he was obviously skilled with his hands, and was willing to stab people. It was after his hiring that he revealed to Halcyon that he was actually a goblin. With his new team prepared for the fight ahead, Halcyon prepped for the toughest fight in his life. MARRIAGE.
