Nine of our Risdon Vale Homes dogs farewelled staff and volunteers during the week, including heeler x Aveda being transferred to Emma Haswells Brightside Farm Sanctuary, and we wish Aveda a great future. Adopted from foster to adopt was staffy x Chocco, who is now getting on well with the family cat. Leaving from adoption pens at the Home were Millie (collie x pup), Billy (tibetan terrier), Patch (blue heeler), Magic (jack russell), Rosemary (beagle), Felicity (silky terrier x) and last but not least, sweet Missey (staffy/jack russell x). It was so good to see Missey rehomed, as she had arrived at the Home with her 4 pups. All dogs still at the Home are looking forward to the weekend, which promises fine sunny days. We are hopeful that we may be able to bring you good news sunday night that some of our bigger dogs were given their Second Chance at Life during the weekend....with the Home currently having 29 medium/large dogs awaiting that chance to impress, as well as around 8 to 10 in foster care :-)
