Nine years ago today my sweet Addison graced us with her presence. She has grown into a beautiful young lady with spirit and passion like no other. As I reflect on the birth of Addison I am reminded how quickly the world can change. Shortly after Addison was born, Kimberly began having a severe headache. The doctors believed it was related to the epidural, but it was determined to be a blood clot in her brain. She spent multiple days in ICU and thankfully is now fully recovered. I will never forget the worry for those couple weeks as Kimberly lay in the hospital. Aubrey was two and Addi was 4 days old when Kimberly went into the ICU. I was young and scared for the future. I am still thankful for the help both Grandmas provided over that period. I don’t know how I would have made it without their help. In a blink we went from a new baby and tears of joy, to a new baby and tears of fright. Kimberly, I thank God each day that he protected you during that time and allowed the kids to experience what a Godly mother they have. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you do, including bringing a little spirit into our lives 9 years ago. Love you! Chad
