Nirmal Baba’s words definitely meaningless- Lucknow Police In the criminal case No 202/12 under sections 417/419/420/508 registered against Nirmaljit Singh Narula alias Nirmal Baba in Gomtinagar police station, Lucknow by my children Tanaya and Aditya for cheating the simple and uneducated people by presenting himself with Godly powers and by providing simplistic solutions to their problem, the Lucknow police submitted closure report for the second time. The police had not initially registered the case and the children were forced to move before the CJM Lucknow to get it registered. Despite this the first investigating officer SI Rajesh Kumar Singh closed the case by presenting a Final report on 02 August 2012 through five Case diaries, saying that the complainant has not produced any evidence in support of the FIR. The Circle Officer Gomtinagar sent back the matter for further reinvestigation on 17 October 2012 but the next investigating officer again closed the matter in three Case diaries. In his diary dated 15 May 2013 while he agreed that “after listening to Nirmal Baba’s statements and his talks with his disciples and after looking at the questions and answers, his words and statements seem definitely meaningless” but at the same time sent the closure report without its coming in our notice. Now that we have come to know of this closure report, we shall challenge this before the CJM Court, particularly considering the fact that anti-superstition and rationalism are important parts of our social activities and thinking.
