Nisaar Y. Nadiadwalas Stray thoughts on Indian Election Results Since everybody is giving their opinions and expert comments on Indian election let me too throw my hat in the ring. You have a right to disagree with my views. After all it is a Democracy. If India can disagree with Arvind Kejriwal, then why not me? Let the Muslim not think that India has voted for anti Muslim or anti Islamic rhetoric. The people of India have rejected the Corrupt and weak Congress. It was anti Congress wave and not anti Islamic wave. A big, fat, broad, wide heavy and cheerful ‘Thank you’ to Kejriwal and his volunteers for keeping up the morale high. Mr Kejriwal, don’t give up. Focus on Delhi assembly election again. You were honest. As for the Muslims let us intensify our efforts in promoting of Peace vision of Islam because our goal of life is not defeating BJP and Modis but we have to inform them about Islam too. I wonder how much taxes are we going to pay in the next five year to repay the Ambanis and Adanis earnest contribution to establish Narendra Modi sarkar! Elections are won by parties but finally the world is run by Allah. If Allah wants a khair [good] out of sharr [evil] nobody can stop Him. When the Congress was defeated in 1977, post Emergency, the Morarji Desai Government had Atal Bihari Vajpayee as a foreign Minister. In few months we saw India Pakistan’s relations improving with cricket teams visiting across the borders. A couple of decades later when Vajpai became the Prime Minister the Samjhauta express began transporting people from both the sides of the border. A lot of middle class Muslims could go and visit their relatives across. I hope Modi ( or as they say Modijee now) also improves his relations with all the sections of community. I pray for his Guidance.
