In celebration of the company’s sports car heritage, Z® car owners and enthusiasts will display nearly 300 Nissan sports cars dating back to the early 1970s during the event. During the 27th annual convention, Nissan is offering a few limited tours of its design center in La Jolla, Calif., to give Z owners an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look into how iconic vehicles like the Nissan 370Z are born. This year, Nissan will also showcase an array of existing, newly released and concept vehicles, including the entire NISMO product lineup and new-for-2015 370Z NISMO and GT-R NISMO, a special JUKE Personalization vehicle display and the all-new 2015 Nissan Murano, which arrives in dealerships later this year. “This event places the most exciting Z® cars from the past 40-plus years alongside Nissan’s full NISMO lineup and the highly anticipated 2015 Murano. It is a great opportunity for Nissan to celebrate its rich sports car heritage, while also providing a glimpse into the future,” said Pierre Loing, vice president, Product Planning, Nissan North America, Inc. “Nissan is proud to support the enthusiasts and owners at ZCon each year and we are excited to give them a special insider’s look at the Nissan design facility.” Nissan will display its NISMO lineup and Murano from August 7 to 9. The JUKE Personalization vehicle display will be available from August 8 to 9, while Nissan’s NISMO-branded booth and promotional item giveaways will run throughout the five-day convention. Events and activities such as an autocross, skills driving events, banquets, raffles, prizes and more will also be available all five days for the more than 500 expected attendees.
