Nissi Outreach Home is a Christian Community Based Organization versioned to raise hope, empower torchbearers into the future; and support OVC through bonding, meeting their basic needs and encouraging creativity. NOH is seeking for working volunteers to serve part-time with us at the ministry in the areas of: Treasury, Accounts and Welfare Personnel Treasurer: Requirements A Bachelor of business Administration or Business Computing. Must be working and serving at NOH as a ministry in giving back to the community and vulnerable lives Must be well conversant with business and accounts computations Manage the Boards’ review and actions related to the organization’s financial responsibilities. In consultation with the secretariat staff, participate in the development of the Organization’s financial procedures and systems. Ensure the appropriate financial reports are made available to the board. Regularly present reports to the Board on key financial events, trends, concerns and assessments of the Organization’ fiscal health. Must be God fearing and passionate and Loving to Children. Must have a considerate heart for the programs and offer part of their time to minister to the children. Must have an open mind and creative. Experience. Candidate must have experience in the field of study and with knowledge of how to run the accounts and computing business data; working with vulnerable children is an added advantage. Having hands on skill is an added advantage to the ministry and for the good of the beneficiaries. Welfare: Requirements A Bachelor in Child Development and Ministry or Social Worker Must be working and serving at NOH as a ministry in giving back to the community and vulnerable lives Must be well conversant with child growth and children mentoring. Must be able to work with children, families, groups and communities to improve their quality of life and stand in at the outreaches run every weekend. Must be able to stand with the vulnerable children explore their difficulties in a confidential and dependable manner and practical solution centered, Must ensure that aspects of gender, conflict sensitivity, and Integral Human Development are fully considered in the project cycle. Must be able to work along to help create new laws or to lobby for new laws that will benefit societys disadvantaged. Part of their role is to conduct research on society trends and advise NOH on ways in which OVC can have a better life. Consider providing psychological support, and counseling to OVC and monitoring child related interventions. Generating quality and timely monthly reports and data within the CBO, in hand with the related departments. Must be God fearing and passionate and Loving to Children.
