Nnamdi Obiaraeri wrote as follows: Ossy Dimaku thanks for speaking the truth and leaving us with a paradox which I identify as follows: ..Hunger can be fought and poverty reduced to the barest minimum if we build strong institutions and not create strong individuals. Strong institutions are built and reinforced by strong laws which moderate and regulate the activities of individuals and authorities whether private or public. Our youth, women and elders at large will always be hungry so long as we suffer from collective amnesia and allow the status quo to go unchallenged. This is the truth. The youth will always have a chance to create or recreate the type of society they want, dream and or desire. These are difficult choices but they must not be blinded by political bling bling or antics of emergency philanthropists and touch and go disempowerment syndrome usually disguised as youth empowerment ( gift of keke napep, okada, trip to one backyard foreign country, kobo kobo monthly stipend for being an internet attack Rottweiler etc). This is the truth! Change is good, change is desirable, change is inevitable. The critical question is what change do we envisage- from bad to good or from bad to worse? Most patriotic elders are determined to fight on the side of our youth to make the visible difference and create a sustainable nation but will the few food is ready and opportunistic vocal youth agree? This is the paradox!#NextSenator
