No. 10 - The River Raisin National Battlefield Park The site of the bloodiest battle of the War of 1812. The largest conflict ever fought on Michigan soil. The battle that once and for all sealed our independence as a nation. It all happened right here in Monroe at the River Raisin National Battlefield Park. Scott Bentley and his staff hold wonderful events at the park year round and are anxious to see you and tell you about the plans for the River Raisin Heritage Corridor!
