No 13 Noe w that I have been in my apprenticeship and am now 18,the time has come when I have to register for My National Service,but because I am still an apprentice I can be differed until I finish it, so I have to apply for this, also they ask me which area of the forces I want to go into and of course I want to go into the R A F, so I shall be twenty one years old by this time, before I have to go into the forces,so I am ask to take an intelligent s test to see if I will be accepted in the R A F glad to say I pass this test and now I know I will be in the R A F, The boys and me decide to take a ride to hastings on the bikes,but this is quite a long run for my little bike around a hundred mile round trip my pal Len says he will come with me on the pillion I would have taken Angela but she has to work,so will see her later,The trip goes well and we have a very enjoyable day,but I wish I had a more powerful motorcycle because with a passenger I can only manage thirty-five and forty mile an hour,so this means the boys on the bigger bikes have to stop and wait for those of us us who only have the smaller bikes,so having made this journey o k we decide that we may go up to London { not on the bikes } and see some London play at a theatre, this means that I shall have to ask my Dad if I can use his car,so that we can all go,,this time I can take Angela so she will be the only girl among four boys, but she dosnt mind as she knows all of them anyway. Dad say I can use his car, so we apply for tickets to see a show called Latin Quarter, which we hear is a really good show, I am glad that I have fairly good knowledge of London owing to having worked in London when I went up to learn how to fix the dental things, after the show which really was great, there is only one problem,I have never driven in London at night,so finding my way out is difficult and some how I manage to drive out to a certain part in London but then find somehow I have driven back into Londons centre this causes lots of laughter and jokes about my driving, but in the end I do find the way home again,.but we agree that we have enjoyed it, so maybe can do it again sometime.
