Eight visitors from Ouyen ventured out to participate boosting player numbers to 26. The overall winners were Bob Lester(s), Margaret Gregg and Maggie Winslow from runners-up Steve Simmonds, Colleen Gloster and Reg Dean. Third place were John Cummings, Joan Polhner and Nita Wandel. The usual Twilight meal was enjoyed by all. Acting President Bob Lester conveyed our appreciation to the Greggs for their generosity. Roll to the ditch winners were Nita Wandel and John Cummings. The Underbool mens 4s team played in the Bowls Sunraysia Championships on Saturday against Nangiloc. The team comprising of Steve Simmonds (s), Davenport Winslow, Colin Lockett and Alan Stone succumbed to the opposition 19-15 in a well fought match. We wish those Underbool players who are competing in Bendigo at the Country Week Bowls good bowling and good times!
