No Child Left Behind takes on an ominous sound these days. Heres another aspect of the dumbing down of America: driving our committed, excellent teachers out of the field of caring about our childrens futures through educating them. Educators no longer need apply. Now we only need child care technicians who will force feed our children for testing. No education required. No learning how to think. No learning logic. Just how to take a test. No child enrichment programs. No exercise requirements, except for those good enough to play the money sports. My heart breaks for the future of our children and the future of our country. I was blessed to be educated in a time when education had a real meaning and function.
