No Christmas Service, New Years Eve Service and New Years Day - TopicsExpress

No Christmas Service, New Years Eve Service and New Years Day Service in Sierra Leone? Can someone please confirm the truthfulness or falsity of this news? If this news is really true, I am yet to fathom or rationalize the objective of this social injunction on the church especially when i consider the fact that churches have been meeting all this while and there has never been any reported case of Ebola affected persons in any church gathering since the inception of the outbreak that could have perhaps warranted such a move. That besides, the emergency regulations as far as i could recall, did not prohibit church gatherings in any shape or form. So why this is happening now? In as much as due diligence should be exercised in social gatherings, it is vital to pinpoint that, the CHURCH OF GOD is not a social gathering but a Spiritual one...And this distinction has to be understood going forward. The church must let the state know this very clearly even as they go about enforcing emergency regulatory measures against the Ebola epidemic. If there is any place EBOLA is terribly afraid of is the CHURCH OF GOD....And trust me, Ebola will never occur in a church gathering.I CAN BET MY LIFE ON THAT. I think this decision must be looked into again if it is true. We can pursue medical options but God is the ULTIMATE DOCTOR we could ever need for the eradication of Ebola in the land of Sierra Leone. Let the people be allowed to go and worship HIM....Please...That exception is a necessity! My Humble appeal. Rashid Justice Dumbuya
