No Country for Old Men 4/4 The Coen Brothers have made a career out of creating uniquely flawed characters, and this film is no exception. Llewelyn, Josh Brolin, happens upon the site of a drug deal gone way wrong. He takes a bag of money and starts running for his life. Tommy Lee Jones is the cop trying to find him. Javier Bardem is Anton Chigurh, one of the most ruthless and fascinating villains in film history. The tension of the film is so good the Coens dont even rely on usual music cues. With moments of pure brilliance littered throughout the film, the audience watches as bad people (even good people) slowly collide with each other and the carnage that is left in the wake. If you dont see this film just crawl back under that rock you call home and stay there.
