No Eid plans yet? Who is down for another PRAY--EAT--BOWL Eid fest? Eid Mubarak, everyone! The Chicago Muslim community will see the first day of Eid being celebrated by some on Tuesday and others on Wednesday. Alia and I are planning to celebrate on Wednesday, and you all are welcome to partake in celebrations with us! Here is a proposed Eid day plan for Wed: Wed. Oct. 16th: 1. 8 AM Eid PRAYER- Khateeb: Omer Mozaffar- Hyde Park Henry Crown Field House, 5550 S University Avenue, Chicago You may need to park a block or two away. Following Eid prayer, we will congregate and head out to brunch. 2. 10 AM BRUNCH - Clarkes 1447 E 53rd St. Chicago Il (3 blocks from Eid Prayer Location) Following brunch, we plan to head to a bowling outing organized by IIIE. 3. 2-4 PM BOWLING- Diversey Bowl hosted by IIIE Diversey River Bowl, 2211 W.
