No, I am not excited about the Fifty Shades of Grey movie hitting theaters soon. I did not read any of the books, frankly because, well, they dont interest me. I have no desire to read graphic stories of people being intimate. I believe I am called to purity. Yes, I understand I am married, but there is still a calling on my life as a Christian wife and mother to maintain purity. My eyes dont need to see, nor my ears hear, nor my mind think about anything that is not pleasing to The Lord. Is this a battle? Yes. Am I perfect at it? No. I fail multiple times daily. But I will not give the devil a foothold knowingly and willingly. *p.s.. This is my conviction so I dont need any backlash. If you disagree, you disagree. Turn my eyes from looking at worthless things; and give me life in your ways. Psalm 119:37
