No! I oppose a new stadium for the Braves. I said during the news, I hope the survey people call me. They did. My replies: I oppose building a new stadium; I oppose Cobb Co. paying $400 million to support this: Yes traffic will be horrible; No, I will not support the re-election of my commissioner if he is for this. There is nothing wrong with the current stadium. They say people just go there for the games and then go home. Duh. Parking is not good. They had said they would make it good when it was built. They say MARTA is not helpful at the current site. There will be no mass transportation at the new site and would not help if there was because people do not use mass transportation which is why it is broke. The idea about restaurants and other entertainment stuff being built at a new stadium is dumb. People will go there for the games and then go home. I am opposed to the Falcons building one and was sorry the two churches did not stand their ground and preserve their heritage instead of selling out for a few million $$$. These owners and politicians are a bunch of spoiled brats who could care less about millions and billions of $$$ being spent just so we can keep those teams here. Let them go somewhere else. I couldnt care less. I was hoping the Falcons would move to Biloxi. The Atlanta Braves need to stay in Atlanta where I-75, I-85, I-20 all come together from four directions. Can you even imagine I-75 at I-285 on Friday night or any other at 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.? By the way the Braves have the gall to say the new one will seat 7,000 fewer fans which makes seats more in demand -- so they can charge more. This is a racket, and I dont mean tennis. As far as I am concerned the Braves can move to Valdosta. I am through with those Carpet-baggers. Go Yankees!
