No. It doesnt. More government means large groups and large corporations and the powerful are in check and are monitored to make sure that they dont screw the little guy. More government means more schools, more parks, more libraries, cleaner streets, more jobs, more accountability for those who may abuse their power. Less government means dirty streets, factories that are allowed to dump swill into your drinking water, people working for slave wages, in short, un unchecked plutocracy in which there are a couple of people who are in power and everyone else is living in a slum. Look at the countries with less government: India, Iran, Sudan...do they seem happy and well adjusted to you? What about these countries with more government: Sweden, Switzerland, Denmark...they are the most stable economically and have the best educational systems in the world. Why is it so hard to learn from this?
