No More Hate: Cops and Robbers History is bound to repeat itself. 20+ years ago, in the wake of the LA Riots (not civil unrest), the people that sat on the fringe of the Police Brutality debate began their increased attack on uniformed police officers. Assaults on officers went up, the brutality increased in urban communities, and citizens lived in fear until the media turned is attention back to the criminals. The criminals in urban communities were then subject to increasingly harsh enforcement to stop the carnage. The Robbers then began complaining that the Cops were to tough on them. As a direct result, by the late 1990s, thru direct enforcement and attrition, crime went down and public sentiment turned to the criminals as the poor down trodden. Police hatred had return like it was in early 90s. Yesterday a cowardly whiner, cop hater murdered two of New Yorks finest. Al Sharpton wont lead a March. Sean Hannity will make it a race issue. The Hatred continues until we, righteous people break the cycle. If you hate either Cops or Citizens then youre wrong. We need to despise the criminals and hate the crime.
