No Need to Panic Prior to the much debated second round of Elections in Azad Afghanistan, many of us considered it as a perfect opportunity to de-politicizing the problems or better said solutions to its social, ethnic and economic problems. Contrary to some of our earlier expectations, mother compromise once again sealed fates of millions of its citizens. Meanwhile, there is a bunch of self-proclaimed western and Afghan pundits, busy spreading their self-fulfilling prophecy and creating a sphere of insecurity and instability in regard to this compromise. To the dismay of these pundits, this compromise is by no means end of hope in regard to reform and further building of sustainable and competent institutions administered by competent people, a prime desire of Afghan citizens. Not only are there plenty of opportunities but also a strong feeling, plenty of time and determination to turn turn the tide. One way to do so is to build and create tangible neutral liberal technocratic governance that leaves no space for nationalistic populism or ethno-centric policies. This can be done by endorsing a group of competent experts through a transparent process of evaluating their merits and achievements, in the context above, for the betterment of all in the past decade. Second, cut their pay substantially and be flexible in replacing them on short notice. Get rid of the elitism, big wages and bring equality to everybody. That is the only thing theyll work long term. To sum it up, Issues of Azad Afghanistan are not that disturbing and critical as some pundits would like us to believe. Be Aware.
