No Shame November: I do not identify as a woman. Woman is a social construct that is forced upon me by a culture that I do not wish to participate in and evidence of a social contract which I did not sign. I feel that binary gender is a trap designed to divide us from unity consciousness and prevent us from expressing our True Will. Mother Culture (see: Ishmael, Daniel Quinn) tells me I should be a nesting creature, a mother, lusting after a suburban home full of pointlesss things instead of a rich and vibrant experience. I reject that paradigm as shallow and fruitless. I am female-bodied, yes, but beyond the temporary meat-sack that I currently inhabit the body I reside in means about as much to me as the favorite station that you turn your radio to on your commute. That being said, in a binary world the feminine charm is an apt and subtle weapon, both offensive and defensive. Its always been somewhat confusing to me- why do people cling to the idea of Man is ____ or Woman does _____? Why not just do as your heart says and harm none? PS: I identify as neither gender. I am an agent of the synergy between order and entropy, and I like it when you use it and its for my pronouns. Sometimes my gender is Ferocious Creature, other times it is Wily Minx, and sometimes it is Wise Ancient. Other than those, English words dont apply.
