***No Strictly Swing this Friday October 18th*** Apologies to all for the short notice...due to a scheduling conflict with the American Legion, they hhave bookes the hall for tomorrow night and could not provide an additional space as they have in the past in order to conduct the dancing and lesson. We all know that in the past 10 years, Strictly Swing has not missed a third Friday until now. We took over the group back in February in order for the monthly dances to continues; but unfortunately due to the economy and the nature of the beast, our event does not support the financial need of most venues; it is a community event and a service, not a profit making business, so unfortunately we have to bend in order to allow for businesses to make an income. We tried to find an alternate space for this month but could not due to the short notice. Next month is still scheduled for Friday, November 15th at the American Legion Hall as plannes unless you hear from us otherwise. Again, we apologize for the short notice and inconvenience this may have caused you in your weekend plans. On a positive note, we are still hosting the Balboa and Brew at Taproot this Saturday October 19th from 4:00-6:00 pm. See you then.
