No Two-Hour Early Dismissal on Friday January 24, 2014 Because of temperatures expected to be between 1 and 9 degrees and the wind chill expected to be minus 10 to 15 degrees, the School District has a very important announcement for students, parents and staff. First, the District is monitoring the temperatures and wind chill factor for tomorrow, which may necessitate a delay in the start of school for Friday, January 24, 2014. However, that decision has not been made as of this hour. If a delay is called, it will be publicized on Pittsburgh radio and TV stations and on the District Web site. Second, the previously scheduled two-hour early dismissal for Friday, January 24, 2014, has been cancelled. Students will be dismissed at the normal time on Friday. Parents are asked to make appropriate arrangements for childcare. If you have any questions, please contact your building principal. Thank you.
