No celebrity clips today. Well thank someone for a laugh, a tear, or a song again later. Today and everyday, we should all thank a current or former serviceman (whether here or above) for what they do and have done, the lives theyve lived, to protect and preserve our freedom and beautifully imperfect system of government. In fact, they gave us the right to have these conversations with the world through Facebook (no matter how ridiculous some of it is). It will never get so bad in America that they cant defend it or that WE THE PEOPLE cant fix it. Likewise, it can never get so good that we should let ourselves stop appreciating it. To the men and women to whom I am related, to the friends within viewing range of this post or not, to my peers and former classmates, and to those I do not and may never know - if you wore the uniform, if you took and lived by the oath, if you bore the burden in wartime or peace - THANK YOU! And thank God for every one of you.
