No doubt the nation is a mess. If anything, perhaps it gives us a better picture of the human soul without Christ. I dont say things will improve here; I dont know if they will. But Im concerned about returning to and following the Author of our faith more so than the Founders of our country. Im more concerned about the nation of Gods people, the family of God: that we persevere, that we cling to our first love, that we be made more like Him, and that we live in the true freedom, which is freedom from sin and from the ways and desires of this present world and of this nations culture.
