No fake weather reports or complaining about the weather tonight, no funny little stories, just me asking for your support through a donation to a very good cause. I have more than enough relatives and friends who have had cancer and I wanted to do something about it. I can not run any more, so no marathons, I can not cure it myself, I can donate, which Karin and I did but I felt I could do more and I heard of having ones head shaved. Just 5 more days until B-day. (Bald day). I answered a friend of mine with the following after he said I was a brave and good man. Thanks Ken but neither, even with my problems lately, knee, diabetes etc. they are no where near what they should have been the way I treated my body over the years. This is nothing compared to what these little ones go through. I heard of this because the young son of a friend of Karins decided to show his support in this way. I figured if he could do it, I could do it. I also saw this commercial on TV where this kid kept breaking his toys and getting new ones. At the end it showed a girl in his class, obviously with cancer and the announcer states with each credit card purchase a portion goes towards cancer research. Well this just broke my heart so I decided to do something and try and help. So please, I do not usually do this but I am asking for your help and go to stbaldricks.org and donate to this worthy cause.
