No flashy graphic, just lots of information about a real job working from home as an Independent Contractor taking inbound calls. I am with ALT, Automatic Lead Tools. In this position, you would be an independent contractor as defined by the IRS code. In other words, you set your own schedule and provide all your own tools and you get all the tax deductions of an independent contractor (which is fantastic). All your tools, phone, internet, home office space and so on are tax deductible. Please seek tax advice from a tax professional (very worth it). ALT is a software company and we are looking for representatives who can work at home and take inbound calls. You would have a browser-based interface and when you can take calls, you tell the call center that you are available to take calls then calls will be routed to your home office. You would need a computer with high speed internet access and a dependable phone line in a quiet space in your home where you can take calls.
