No foul play suspected in death of infant Foul play is not suspected in the death of an infant January 18 at a Cabool home. Texas County Coroner Tom Whittaker said two-month-old Wyatt T. Banda was found unresponsive and attempts to resuscitate him were unsuccessful. The official cause of death is pending; no signs of trauma were found. Whittaker said the family had just moved into a rental house on Oak Street and had slept in the same bed due to having no heat in the house. The infant’s mother awoke to find him pale and lifeless. He was pronounced dead at 9:46 a.m. at Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. The body was transported to Springfield for an autopsy. The family has since moved out of the area, Whittaker said.
