No fresh KPSC selection: KAT to govt Karnataka Administrative Tribunal (KAT) on Wednesday asked it not to undertake a fresh selection process via the Karnataka Public Service Commission (KPSC). KAT passed an interim order of status quo asking the government to refrain from filling up 362 posts of gazetted probationers owing to cancellation of the selected list of 2011 batch. We are of the view that status quo will have to be maintained in relation to the posts to which applicants have been already selected by KPSC. The government should not initiate any fresh selection process in relation to posts to which the KPSC had selected candidates as per the final list published on March 21, 2014, a KAT bench comprising acting chairperson Abhijit Dasgupta and judicial member Moosa Kunhi Nayarmoole observed in their order after hearing a batch of applications filed by select candidates and also submission made by advocate-general Ravivarma Kumar.
