No less a military expert than Sun Tzu himself argued for the importance of knowing your enemy in battle, but President Obama seems not only unaware of whom America is fighting, but also incapable of ever attaining that knowledge. When an enemy, be they radical Islamic terrorist, Nazi, or imperialist, dedicates themselves to your destruction, there is no reasoning, sanction, or diplomatic maneuvering that will prevent them from ultimately carrying out their intention. Sometimes, you just have to kill bad guys.
