No lie, Im in tears right now. I realized today that when I got baptized 3 years ago I wasnt ready. I didnt know what being a Christian really meant. I see myself now and yes I have changed radically and it is all because of the blood of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ but there are things I still didnt understand until God revealed it to me today and I have no doubt I have so much more to learn. Being a Christian is NOT about conforming or fitting into what the American opinion makes Christianity to be. Being a true Christian, a follower of Jesus Christ is to truly change. Change for the best and to conform to what the Word of God tells us. Its NOT easy. Youll HAVE TO give up everything you were ever taught was good but really isnt according to the Word of God. I still struggle with this today BUT I realize this very moment that God truly isnt done with me yet. The more I seek Him the more He shows me, the more my yearning to conform to Him grows. Truth is if you call yourself a Christian and your still living life as you were before you met Him, you havent changed, having Jesus in your life hasnt cost you anything then its time to examine yourself. Because I know first hand that in giving up your selfish life to serve the Lord hurts BUT it is the best decision we as Gods creation can ever make. Gods not done with you. He set His eyes on you, keep searching Him and allow Him to truly change you. Truly let Him show you what the phrase, LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE means. Thank you God for speaking to my heart. Truly I say empty me of myself and fill me of you in Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.
