No lie though..having a beard gets you so much bro-respect. I was walking through wal-mart yesterday just pushing my cart when a guy about strolls past me talking on his cell phone. He stops me, puts his cell phone down, looks me straight in the eye and says, dont ever shave it.. I was taken back by it & laughed to myself. Just now at the gym walked past 8 dudes chatting and one guy pipes up, see! I want a beard like his! Again I chuckled as I walked out thinking how far the transition has come since I was in high school. Back then it was in to be the preppy, clean-shaven Abercrombie model looking guy. Now its a full-on beard that catches attention. Seeing that I never had a beard in my life, Im enjoying being able to grow a decent one. At least it provides an offset and solace from my balding on top! lol
