No man can oppose what God has ordained The jealous Sadducees wanted to get rid of the apostles (Acts 5:17-26) but a respected Pharisee by the name of Gamaliel and a member of the Council advised them as follows: ‘If this plan or this undertaking is of men, it will fail; but if it is of God, you will not be able to overthrow them. You might even be found opposing God (Acts 5:38). No man can oppose what God has ordained. He will surely be defeated because God will not tolerate any rivals to His plans and projects. ‘Oceans will rise, kingdoms will fall but the Word of the Lord lasts forever’ (Isaiah 40:8) So will My word be which goes forth from My mouth;It will not return to Me empty, without accomplishing what I desire, and without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it (Isaiah 55:11) says the Lord. It is God who builds through us, His instruments, and God is pre-eminent in His projects because they are His projects and the Kingdom, Glory and Power are all His. Our will should be to do His Will and so we work strictly by His directives. God entrusts his plans to those who will humble themselves who will give all Glory to Him. He searches our hearts and minds. ‘He who speaks on his own authority seeks his own glory; but he who seeks the Glory of Him who sent him is true, and in him there is no falsehood’ (John 7:18). The Spirit of the Lord gives detailed directives to men to build His Projects. He gave instructions to build His Ark of the Covenant and later His Temple, in the Old Testament. The Spirit of God gives directives also in the New Testament(read Acts 13:2-4, Acts 16:6-10). God’s projects have to be completely inspired by the Holy Spirit. Human interference is not advisable. We are merely to execute His plans. It all begins with God putting a vision in our hearts. God will never do anything without first revealing His plan. He further gives many confirmations and sends His Angelic Ministry to help the people chosen for the work. The chosen people enjoy divine favour given to build His project. God looks out for our cooperation in executing His plans. Mama Mary instantly said ‘Yes.’ Likewise, our Guardian Angel will ask us a straight question: ‘Are you ready to walk the path that God has prepared for you?’ When we say ‘yes,’ the journey begins. The training follows.
