No matter how hard failure tries to keep me away from reaching my goal, I’ll always be on the onset of something amazing and using determination, I’ll eventually reach the fruits of victory because I know fate will lead me there… it will. I faced challenges that almost made me give up, the sleepless nights I have to suffer and the stress that took a toll on my health and emotion. There were times when I thought that I have to just let time flow around me as I meditate about the desires of not stressing myself to escape from the pressure that’s stomping my life. But consequences always flashed themselves and thankfully, I was able to use them to change my perspective and work hard. Just like a marathon, without running, I won’t reach the finish line. If I won’t work hard, I won’t reach success. I will never reach if I use my mind alone. And now, I’m almost there. Looking back, I thank my friends and all the people who were there for me to lift my spirits and to serve as my paintbrush to paint a beautiful picture and to my experiences for serving as the color pallet so I could create my magnum opus: these medals and my achievements. Without them, I would live in worlds black and white, never tasting the feeling of emerging victorious from the arduous journey I traversed. I’m nearly finishing the journey and I know I can still equip myself to be prepared for the final battle. And I know I will be the victor because I have friends and my family to support me. Someday, I’ll make them really proud and the treasures awaiting my grasp will also be theirs. Indeed, S.Y. 2013-2014 has been a beautiful and epic journey with odds against my favor but despite of it, I am so PROUD and I CAN EVEN BRAG that Ive learned SO MUCH FROM MY FAILURES and since this is gonna be my last academic recognition, I want you to know that gold medals arent really made of gold.
