No matter how much we all try to control our emotions some of the time we (the people that are conscious of our actions and intelligent enough to accept the motivation behind them) are controlled by them instead. You would think fear, hatred, or anger would be the top controlling ones, but honestly I have found in my life and in several of the people I meet that the two most controlling emotions are Guilt and Obligation. Not only do we allow these two emotions to control our actions but we also allow them to control our self esteem, thoughts, and purpose. People know this and some of those that are aware of it, use it to against us to also control our actions.. Realizing this has been an honest epiphany for me. I know some of you may think that this statement is common sense and I should have already known this, but I want you to seriously look at your daily life and the things you do and think. How many of your actions, thoughts, and issues can be brought down to guilt or obligation? In my life, I have allowed people in my life that I really cant stand and tolerated their constant B.S. because of obligation and when I didnt, I felt guilty about it. No matter how much they drained me I continued to allow them in. I would let guilt dictate my actions, in almost everything. I felt guilty saying No to someone or something, and then later obligated to do something again because I didnt say no the first time.....These two emotions do nothing positive in my life and their control has lasted long enough....#changesiammakingdaily #weedingoutnegativeinfluence #happierlife #negativethoughtsbringnegativeactions #nomoreguiltorobligation
